    1. Let’s Connect
    Start by getting in touch! During our initial call, we’ll chat about ideal timing and location options for your family photoshoot. I love photographing families at home or out in nature — or both!

    2. Book Your Session
    Once we’ve settled on a date, you’ll sign a quick contract and send over a 50% retainer. Then we’re officially on the calendar.

    3. Photoshoot Day
    This is the fun part! I’ll guide you through the session to help you feel relaxed and confident — and to make sure you look amazing in your photos.

    4. Gallery Delivery
    Within two weeks, you’ll receive a beautiful online gallery with a link to download your images and options for printing if you’d like.

Becoming a mom changed everything

This is a self-portrait I took with him when he was three months old. At the time, I was desperately trying to reclaim myself as an artist — to return to self-portraiture, something I’ve always loved.

But as I settled deeper into motherhood, I realized making photos like this with my son wasn’t practical. I was mostly using my iPhone to document our days, and I hated how the images looked — so sharp and contrasty, nothing like the soft, fleeting, nostalgic feeling I associate with childhood.

So, I bought a small Fuji pocket camera from a friend. At first, it drove me crazy that the quality wasn’t like my pro gear. But over time, I fell in love with its quirks. I’m so grateful for the chance to take photos of my son on a daily basis — not perfect ones, but honest ones.

I’ve only been a mother for a few years, but I now know all those cheesy sayings are true: time really does play tricks on you. That’s why capturing these moments through family photography has never felt more meaningful to me.
