Hi, I’m Gina.
a commercial and fine art photographer based in Pasadena. Light is the language of my heart and I love using it to transform a scene, filling it with magic. My aim is to create timeless and authentic images, and I do so with a sense of playfulness and connection. We’ll be a great fit if you’re looking for natural feeling lifestyle imagery with an artistic touch. I can’t wait to work with you!
I fell in love with photography when I was young and my grandpa gave me one of his 35mm cameras. I photographed what I came across in the fields of South Dakota and delighted in its appearance in the darkroom that I created in my home.
I received a BA in photography from Montana State University in Bozeman then, after college, went on to receive my second education assisting photographers and producing photoshoots in Seattle and eventually Los Angeles.
I’ve exhibited my fine art photographs across the US in spaces such as the Los Angeles Center of Photography, the Robert Berman Gallery, The Center for Fine Art Photography, SE Center for Photography, Fabrik Projects Gallery, Tilt Gallery, PhotoPlace Gallery and the San Diego Art Institute. My images have been featured in publications such as Lenscratch, F-Stop Magazine, Bokeh Bokeh Photo and the Detroit Center for Contemporary Photography. Commercial clients I’ve worked with include: Disney, Google, National Geographic, Warner Brothers and The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles.
I currently live in Pasadena with my partner, our toddler and our pup. If I’m not shooting, I’m probably doing one of my favorite things like playing with my son, exploring in nature, soaking at the Korean spa, getting in a good laugh with my girlfriends or whipping up a delicious dessert.
